The nontheistic ritual wiki is intended to be an open source repository of rituals, writings, and other topics. To ensure that the contributed works benefit everyone and not a few select people who hold the copyrights, additions to this wiki must be made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. This license allows anyone to use the works for any public, private, commercial, or noncommercial use. The only limitations are that credit must be given back to this wiki so that anyone can find this resource, and Share Alike which requires that works that use or build upon the contents of this wiki must also be released under the same or a compatible license. Share Alike ensures that anything built upon this content can always be made available for anyone to use for any reason.

Ultimately, the license keeps these rituals in the hands of the people and not the hands of the few.
